April 28, 1999 - Portland, Oregon - Globalstage Productions visits Portland, Oregon in May to film their new production The Three Musketeers. The play, performed by Portland's acclaimed Northwest Childrens Theater (NWCT), is based on Alexandre Dumas' epic tale of romance, honor and revenge. Globalstage will spend four days filming the play at the NWCT and location scenes around the Portland area, from May 2nd through May 5th. The video is scheduled for an August 1 release date and will be closed captioned.

The public is invited to attend a free performance of the play on Sunday May 2nd. Globalstage will be filming the performance with a live audience. Adapted for the stage by David Richmond, the play is co-directed by NWCT Artistic Director John Monteverde and Geoffrey Alm, president of the Society of American Fight Directors. The adventure of young D'Artagnan and his three courageous friends, Athos, Porthos and Aramis comes to energetic life in NWCT's lavish, swashbuckling production.
